‎Afrovibe Lodge and Earthstompers Garden Route Adventure Tours will attempt to set a new Guinness Book Of Records record between 4-7 December 2011.
We intend beating the current record (18 Adventures) currently held by Cape Town by establishing the Garden Route of South Africa as the Adventure Capital of the world.

Potjiekos Competition

Busy-Bugz held their 4th Annual Potjiekos competition on Saturday, 17 September 2011, which was a roaring success. Nine teams entered the competition and there were people that came all the way from Plett to support our school. While the adults were busy with the Potjie cook-off the kids were entertained with a fun-filled day of activities starting off with a fun-walk followed by mini-Olympics which included relay races, egg and spoon races and balloon races. We also had a jumping castle, face painting and pony rides for the kids to enjoy.

Timberlake will host Sedgefield's next Slow Food Workshop. The theme is South African Flavours!

Come early and tour the venue, you will be surprised at those hidden gems tucked away in the village.

Colin Capon’s Presentation will be a talk on his experiences in partaking in the Bidvest World Chefs tour for Hunger.

Other presentations include Slow Beer by Mike Morris and Rob from Eats restaurant cooks up an Ostrich tail casserole.

We will of course be discussing Rugby World Cup, plans for the future, the next meeting and venue.
