As George Child Welfare are the only NPO on 24 hour emergency protocol we deal with so many abuse/rape cases and our supplies are never enough. We constantly require the following items, as children usually only have the clothes on their backs.
Any clean children's clothing, underwear for boys and girls, facecloths, towels, sanitary towels, non scented soap, deodorant, lip ice, body cream, blankets.
Safe house requirements - baby bottles, formula, baby cereal, non perishable foods,nappies of all sizes, as well as face cloths

George Child and Family Welfare have been hard at work preparing for our next AMAZING tea, and we hope that you will join us as we celebrate LIFE IS AMAZING, on 8 June at the Fancourt Banqueting Hall, from 9h00 til 12h30.
Your generous donation of R200 will be used towards the upliftment programs for families in crisis & we will give you a fashion show by newly opened local store @Three, as well as great food, entertainment, goodie bags and lucky draw as well as an opportunity to participate in the raffle for a 7 night stay in ZANZIBAR. A silent auction will also be held.
Share our desire to inspire change in our community and invite your friends and let us spoil you. Once again we will run an email silent auction prior to the tea – so men you can make a bid on an item for yourself or the lucky lady in your life. We have over 50 fantastic prizes up for auction include – pamper hampers, weekends away, 4 balls of golf, golf lessons, adventure walks, skincare products, incredible vouchers and much, much, more. There will be something affordable for all! Your participation will help us continue spreading a little HOPE AND HAPPINESS in our community!

We anticipate that Derek Watts will be our guest speaker and look forward to treating you to a fashion show by Sandra’s Closet and hair by Belle Hair. A special thank you to Mr Moll, the principal of York High School, who will entertain us as our Emcee on the morning. Our other entertainment will be a surprise to you on the day……
Your R200 donation to Child Welfare will give you a ticket to join us in a light celebration breakfast. Each lady will receive a goodie-bag and there are lovely lucky draw prizes as well. We have been blessed to have some wonderful prizes sponsored for our silent auction. Winners of the auction will be contacted the week after the tea. An email will be circulated near the end of May with details as to the items on auction and if you want a preview please send me an email with ‘Auction’ as the subject and I will include you on the mailing list.
