Pre-School:
The Pre-School consists of one toddler class and two pre-school classes. In the pre-school we concentrate on teaching using the Montessori method. Thus multi-age mix is used within the two pre-school classes - this means that the ages in each class are from 3-6 years which allows for both individual and social development. The Montessori philosophy is more easily understood by the following line: "Children learn by a process of discovery rather than being taught by rote".

We are a small dual-medium school with BIG heart. It is not quite certain when LSP was established, but we do have records dating back to 1927! Our grades are from Gr. R to Gr. 7. Together with the general assistants, we are 15 staff members all of whom most have been part of LSP for more than five years. Once you have become part of this great team under Mr Nel's leadership, you just don't want to leave.
