About us
Silver Edge is an owner-run business based in George, South Africa. The owner, Marthinus Nel, has 12 years of experience in the blind, shutter and awning industry. His field of experience includes sales, installations and the operational management of the business. Furthermore he is the brains behind the Silver Edge product brand which has been available country-wide for the last eight years. Marthinus is responsible for the research, development and manufacture of Silver Edge products such as the Silver Edge Security Shutter and Silver Edge Security Trellis Gate. While Marthinus is product-focused Madeleine, his sister, works behind the scenes in taking care of the finances and human resources. They have a proven track record of providing superior quality products and personal service.
